nimint uses YouTube API Services to allow creators to connect a YouTube channel and submit videos, including Shorts, as contract deliverables.
For purposes of this section: - "YouTube API Data" means channel and video information received through YouTube API Services. - "OAuth Credentials" means the access token, refresh token, authorized scope, and expiration information used to maintain the connection authorized by you.
This section applies specifically to YouTube API Data and OAuth Credentials, not to general Google Account profile information. If this section conflicts with another provision of this Privacy Policy, this section controls with respect to YouTube API Data and OAuth Credentials.
When you connect your YouTube channel, nimint may access:
1. your YouTube channel identifier, channel title, handle or custom URL, and profile image;
2. the identifier of your channel's uploads playlist;
3. identifiers, titles, descriptions, publication dates, thumbnails, and owning-channel information for videos and Shorts uploaded to your channel; and
4. OAuth Credentials associated with the read-only YouTube permission granted by you.
nimint stores OAuth Credentials and connected-channel information while your authorized connection remains active. nimint may also store a copy of your channel profile image.
Information about recent, unselected uploads is processed to display available deliverables. When you select and submit a deliverable, nimint may store its identifier or link, title or description, publication date, thumbnail, owning-channel information, deliverable type, and contract-verification status.
nimint requests read-only YouTube access. We do not use YouTube API Services to upload, edit, or delete content from your channel. We do not download or store copies of your YouTube video or audio content, although we may store copies of profile images and thumbnails as described above.
nimint uses YouTube API Data to:
1. connect and identify your YouTube channel;
2. display recent videos and Shorts for selection as contract deliverables;
3. confirm that a submitted post exists and belongs to the connected channel;
4. evaluate disclosed contract requirements, including publication information and required text or brand references;
5. support automated deliverable processing or manual review;
6. support the payment or receivables-purchase workflow associated with verified contract fulfillment; and
7. maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the YouTube connection.
nimint does not use YouTube API Data for advertising, audience profiling, or purposes unrelated to the user-facing contract and deliverable features described in this section.
If nimint proposes to use YouTube API Data for a materially different purpose, we will update our disclosures and obtain any required consent before beginning that use.
Before allowing a person to review YouTube API Data, the Services will identify the specific deliverable information to be reviewed and the intended reviewer or categories of reviewers.
Human review will occur only after you affirmatively submit that deliverable following the notice, except where access is necessary for security purposes or required by law.
nimint may disclose YouTube API Data:
1. to service providers acting on our behalf where necessary to securely host, maintain, or operate the YouTube-integrated feature;
2. to authorized nimint personnel where manual contract verification is required;
3. to a brand, agency, or other contract counterparty identified in the submission notice, solely to review the specific deliverable submitted by you;
4. where necessary to investigate a security incident or abuse; or
5. where required by applicable law.
nimint does not sell YouTube API Data or disclose it to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. We do not use or disclose YouTube API Data for targeted, personalized, interest-based, or retargeted advertising.
nimint retains OAuth Credentials only while reasonably necessary to maintain an active connection authorized by you.
Other stored YouTube Authorized Data is refreshed or deleted no later than 30 calendar days after it was obtained, unless a shorter deletion period applies.
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and administrative, technical, and organizational controls designed to protect YouTube API Data and OAuth Credentials from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
You may disconnect your YouTube channel through nimint or revoke access through your Google Account security settings.
When you disconnect your YouTube channel through nimint, we programmatically revoke the applicable OAuth token and delete the OAuth Credentials and YouTube Authorized Data associated with that authorization as soon as possible and no later than seven calendar days.
We periodically verify that active YouTube authorizations remain valid. If you revoke access through Google, we delete the related YouTube API Data as soon as possible and no later than 30 calendar days after revocation.
If you request deletion of your stored YouTube data or delete your nimint account, we delete the related YouTube API Data and OAuth Credentials as soon as possible and no later than seven calendar days. You may request deletion by contacting hello@nimint.com.
nimint may retain independent contract, payment, tax, accounting, or compliance records that do not contain YouTube API Data when required or permitted by applicable law.
Deleting data from nimint does not delete or modify videos, channel information, or other content stored by YouTube. To delete content stored by YouTube, you must use YouTube directly or another authorized service that supports that functionality.
The Google Privacy Policy explains how Google handles information. Your use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
nimint's use and transfer of information received through YouTube API Services will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Questions or complaints about these practices may be sent to hello@nimint.com.
